It feel surreal to actually be there after hearing so much about it! Remember to buy tickets to see ALL PARTS of the Colosseum.
two weeks in Rome, never seen gladiators, lions or whatever fighting in this place. Those were all lies and marketing. Colosseo sucks 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼at least we have wrestling and MMA in the us. Italy is overrated
Visiting the Colosseum was an absoluttely unforgettable experience that left me completely speechless. Standing inside this iconic ancient amphitheater, you can almost hear the roar of the crowds from 2,000 years ago — it's the kind of place that makes history feel truly alive. 🏛️ Yes, the crowds can be intense, but honestly, they couldn't diminish the magic of the place even slightly. I'd strongly recommend booking skip-the-line tickets in advance because the queues are no joke! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and brought so much context to what we were seeing, making the whole visit even more meaningful. The engineering and scale of the structure is genuinely very unique — it's hard to believe humans built this without modern technology. Every corner you turn reveals something new and awe-inspiring. If you're visiting Rome for the first time or the tenth time, the Colosseum is an absolutely essential stop. One of the most perfect travel memories I've ever made. ⚔️
