Opening Hours

Eiffel Tower hours: Open daily, mid-June to early September (9:00 AM – 12:45 AM, last summit lift 11:00 PM); rest of the year (9:30 AM – 11:45 PM, last summit lift 10:30 PM). Hours may be adjusted for events, weather, or maintenance.

What's Not Included

What's Not Included

Standard Eiffel Tower tickets typically don't include summit access by lift, champagne at the top, or behind-the-scenes machinery room visits. Always review what's included in your ticket before booking to avoid disappointment on the day.

When and How to Visit

When and How to Visit

During the busy summer months, it's wise to book Eiffel Tower tickets at least three weeks in advance. For a quieter experience, the best times to visit are early mornings or late evenings—ideal for catching the hourly sparkle show after sunset. The Tower is open every day of the year, but lift availability varies seasonally.

The Right Vatican Tour

The Right Eiffel Tower Tour

Tours come in many forms, but choosing a small-group or guided tour offers a richer understanding of the Tower's engineering, history, and the Paris skyline. A guided summit tour reveals stories about Gustave Eiffel's secret apartment and the 1889 World's Fair that are often missed by independent visitors.

France Travel & Tourism Tips

The Paris Metro is fast and affordable, but expect occasional delays—build a buffer into your day, especially around peak hours. Many smaller shops and museums close on Mondays or Tuesdays—plan your itinerary so you don't arrive at a locked door. Parisians eat dinner late, usually from 7:30 PM onwards. Lunch is the bigger meal in many bistros, and reservations are strongly recommended in tourist areas. Carry some cash for bakeries, markets, and small cafés. Most places take cards, but contactless tap is the smoothest payment method day-to-day.
