Your adventure begins at Piazza Barberini, where you’ll meet your guide to start this captivating experience. First, visit the Capuchin Crypt, where your guide will share the fascinating history of the Capuchin Friars and their unique traditions.
Next, head to the Roman Catacombs, viewing the cemeteries from above before descending into the extensive underground passages. Discover the resting places of martyrs and popes, admire beautifully preserved frescoes, and explore crypts that date back to the 3rd century.
As you return to Rome, pass by the impressive Aurelian Wall and learn about the rich history of the Appian Way, a vital route during the Roman Empire.

When booking for children under 18 years, a government-issued ID/passport is required at the time of entrance. Failure to bring an ID with you can result in the security staff refusing you entrance to the monument.

No shows/late arrivals will not be refunded.
Depending on the reservation time, the tour route may start in the Roman Forum/Palatine Hill.
Only small bags/backpacks are allowed. No bags with wheels are permitted.
Glass containers, aerosol sprays and weapons are not permitted.
Covid safety measures have increased the time for security checks. The security check line is required for all visitors and cannot be skipped.
