The Colosseum is truly one of the seven wonders of the world and I was so happy I got to see it with my own eyes.
The Colosseum is incredible to see in person, but the experience can be a bit frustrating. It’s often very overcrowded, which makes it difficult to fully take everything in, and access to certain areas like the arena floor or upper levels (attic) is limited. Tickets can also be quite hard to secure. That said, it’s still an amazing and iconic landmark that’s absolutely worth visiting.
Visiting the Colosseum was unforgettable. The sheer size and history of this ancient amphitheater are incredible, and it’s easy to imagine the events that once took place there. Walking through the ruins gives you a real sense of connection to the past. It can get crowded, but it’s absolutely worth it for the experience
Absolutely amazing! As a disabled person, I have to say that every landmark we visited in Rome was extremely accommodating.
There is a lift to the first floor, which was a very welcome sight. A lot of the flooring was uneven, which was tricky for me, but was absolutely expected for a building of this age.
It was VERY crowded with a lot of guided tours that consisted of big groups.
