Your journey doesn’t end there. After exploring the Colosseum, continue to the Roman Forum, the nerve center of public and political life in Ancient Rome. Wander through the remains of temples, basilicas, and triumphal arches as your guide paints a vivid picture of ancient society.

It is an amazing site definitely worth going. The only issue is the amount of people who bug you for tickets and won’t leave you alone and the ln there’s the price like everything in Rome you have to pay and it’s not cheap for a good visit to the colosseum your going to pay nearly €100 for a couple.
We chose the 24 hour Arena ticket which was perfect as one can get a 360 view of the arena from the floor. It does not allow you to access the upper levels but if you don’t mind this, this type of ticket is fine. The tickets to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill are combined with any type of ticket.
The Colosseum is powerful and unforgettable—standing inside it feels like stepping back into ancient Rome. Its scale, history, and atmosphere make it a must-see that truly brings the past alive.
The Attico is the way to see the Colosseum. They only sell tickets for 6 people every half hour. There were never more than a handful of people, the views are amazing, and we were never rushed. The view of Rome in the background was amazing! We were able to spend 45 minutes walking at our own pace, taking amazing pictures, and watching the people below and in the Underground, being herded like sheep.
Tip: Make sure to purchase your Timed Entry tickets in advance (30 days exactly & at the time you want to go, on Rome time, not home time). Do a couple practice runs the day before the day you want to go. The ticketing page is a bit odd. These aren't the easiest tickets to get, but it can be done. We got ours on the third attempt of the day. You won't regret getting the Attico tickets!
