We really enjoyed our food here, the restaurant was full but after a short wait we were seated. Service was friendly and quick. I went for the pork and it was amazing, pic attached. We would definitely come back here if returning to Rome.
This spot is perfect if you want real Italian food close to the Vatican. The waiter helped us choose dishes that matched our preferences. The grilled platter was flavorful and filling. The pasta tasted fresh and traditional. The atmosphere was casual but pleasant. Service was fast and the staff were attentive.
Unfortunately, a big disappointment. The prices are extremely high for very small portions and poor overall quality. Nothing special in terms of taste, and definitely not what you would expect at this price level. The restaurant clearly feels like a tourist trap that relies on its location rather than its food.
On the positive side, there is a beautiful view of the Fountain of the Four Rivers and the staff is friendly and attentive. Still, due to the very poor value for money, I would not return
